The Buffalo Bills of the National Football League are one of the historic franchises in the history of professional football. They compete in the extremely competitive division that has been dominated by most of the other teams for several years. The road ahead for 2015 has some very exciting things in store for the team. Many pundits have picked the Buffalo Bills towards making giant strides forward. Despite not making the playoffs in 2014, the team has a new coach with a track record of success. They have constructed critical pieces in place to win. Coach Rex Ryan has the potential to make an instant impact on the team, and their recent history of success with free agents and veteran players have raised the bar for performance. It all started with bank-breaking record contract given to superstar Mario Williams. This former number one overall pick registered 14 ½ sacks this past season. The team itself led the NFL with fifty-four sacks in all. Mario has started all forty-eight game since he first signed with Buffalo and has posted thirty-eight sacks in just three years. The record of nine wins versus seven losses was the first winning season since 2004. Many within the industry have parted out their assets going into this coming season, and they are sure to get more wins if things continue the way they have especially with the new pieces in place. Their dominant defensive line is one that is feared around the league, and despite a change to their third defense in three years, they feature a number of incredible athletes at the linebacker positions and in the defensive backfield. Jeffrey Pell has been tracking the progress of this team. He is a big fan, despite his current location in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
