Network engineer and information technology specialist Jeffrey Pell enjoys camping in his spare time. Living in the state of Pennsylvania offers many different exciting and naturally wonderful camp locations for he and his wife to choose from. Even if they have to travel a little way from their home city of Allentown, each site they visit is well worth the drive.
In Tionesta, Tionesta Lake is one of Pell's favorite camping locations. Situated in the more densely forested area of Northwestern Pennsylvania, Tionesta is teeming with adventurous opportunities. Campers who come here will enjoy activities such as hiking, fishing, hunting, boating, and water skiing. The campground delivers a host of amenities for all levels of camper.
A drive to Pine Grove, Pennsylvania brings Pell and his wife to the Twin Grove Park. This recreational facility is open all year, and even offers its own amusement park during the warm summer months. Located in Central Pennsylvania, this park and campground covers one hundred acres. There are many amenities at this site, and campers can choose from more rustic-style tent camping or even book a stay in their own log cabin. This facility, Pell says, is a bit more modern than some of the others you will find in the state.
Venturing further into Central Pennsylvania, Jeffrey Pell and his spouse visit the Seven Points Campground at Raystown Lake. Here, they like to fish and participate in many different water sports during the spring and summer months when the weather is nicer in the state.
